This is the kids reading corner that we set up in the living room. They have had a lot of fun looking at books in their own little space. Ben has taken a special liking to it. I decided I should clean it up and straighten up the books a little bit, and oh was I suprised at what I found. My little boy is like a squirrel! By the looks of his supply you would think it was going to be a long hard winter. Maybe he was just getting his food storage in order too. I found one whole side of a gingerbread house from christmas, some apple slices, and pieces of candy. And it wasn't just limited to food I found several "missing toys" carefully tucked behind books and sets of keys. It made me laugh to think about him in there stashing his goods and keeping his new found prizes safe. What a funny little boy I have.

What a cute idea for the kids! I will have to keep that in mind for when mine get a little older! How fun!
He is quite the character. I love how you refer to him as a little squirrel. I guess it seems extra funny to me since I just saw "Alvin and the chipmunks" yesterday. They were sooooo funny about food and a winter's stash.
Loved the post.
Your little man is a smart one, isn't he! Don't you just want to follow him around all day with a video camera and record every little thing?!

What a cute and funny little squirrel he is.
Hey, when I was over at your house yesterday, I was still hungry, so I went over to the "stash" and found myself a cookie.
