Drive On

Anna said she didn't know how to drive so here is Ben giving her instructions on how to drive teaching her which one is the gas pedal, how you push it, and what you do to reverse.
So here we go...so far so good.
Yikes! watch where you are going!
didn't even make it out of the garage!
oops, and we lost a passenger! She later asked me if she could take Savanah for a ride. Sorry sista you need more supervised driving time! I had to laugh at myself when I said I only let Ben drive her around. He is such a good driver that I don't worry about Savanah being in there with him because he drives smoothly and not je-rk-y like everyone else. You gotta hand it to him that boy has got skillz. I mean like turning skillz, stopping skillz, reversing skillz, cookie skillz. You know all the ones that drive the ladies crazy.

Do you ever just feel like the third wheel? I'm sure Ben was giving directions to Makayla on how to drive while he was hitching a ride!

Savanahs topnotch

I finally was able to put enough hair into a rubberband! She looks like she has a little fountain on top of her head. Maybe when she is happy and busy playing I can try for piggytails.

Keep Movin Forward

Have you ever had one of those days where (despite all you have been taught your whole life) you wonder what your purpose is and why life has to be so hard. And sometimes you wonder if you really can make it, because sometimes it just doesn't seem worth it. I hate getting stuck in the "victim" mode and that I let myself fall into these pits where I feel helpless, and hopeless. You would think having the gospel of Christ in my life I would be able to avoid this. Mike has gone to help his dad work for awhile in American Falls so tonight I have had some time to reflect, and collect myself back together, and break up my little pity party. Even when I am feeling this I know I can do better, and quitting is not worth it. So I wonder why I feel like this when I know I shouldn't. My quote lately is from the movie Meet the Robinsons, "Keep Movin Forward." That has been my motto for the past...six months or so. When I finally get a grip, and stop playing the "wo is me card" it does strengthen my resolve to be a better person, stand a little taller (if that's possible, haha) and remember that Christ hasn't moved, I have and He is just waiting for me to come back to His open arms. Okay I am ready to step off my soap box now. Now I just need some dark chocolate and a good chic flic...

Road Trip

I love road trips! Especially when my kids are doing this for most of the trip. Last week we went to bear lake for a family reunion and had a fabuloso time. My battery died on my camera so i had to borrow a camera so i am still working on getting pix from the reunion.
