My Sassy

I love that smile!
One thing I love about Savanahs white hair is how it's styled so differently each time she wakes up.  This picture really doesn't do the do justice.  It's so fine that she usually has a little puff of hair in the back that we affectionately call her rats nest.

Cabin Fever

I just spent 30 minutes trying to rearrange these photos but with no luck.  So they are a little out of order.  I think I am slowly losing my mind because I don't feel like I am getting any smarter.  Anyway, this weekend we had a little cabin fever and thought it would be fun to go on a family campout.  We built a fire, and pitched our tent and then roasted hotdogs.  Of course the campout wouldn't be complete without making yummy scrumptious smores (my favorite part) mmmm.  It was fun to have a little camping experience and tell stories by the fire.  Since we haven't been camping a whole lot the camping gear is pretty fascinating to the kids...mostly Ben.  He couldn't keep his hands off the lantern, and suddenly had several errands to run where he needed to take it with him. And the drink thermos with a pump spout was so cool that his thirst was unquenchable.  Savanahs new favorite word is CHOCAT!  You have to teach them young right! I also realized that sleeping on the floor isn't as easy as it used to be!  I'm all about the 12" memory foam pad.

Don't ask me what this look on his face is.  Maybe its just so delicious it's almost unbearable, that's how I feel about smores sometimes.

Chocolate+Children+late at night...you do the math

Did you know there was proper etiquette when eating a smore? Pinkies up!

Getting the mallow on just right is crucial to a perfect roasting

What am I supposed to do with this thing?
