Makayla had asked for some juice so I filled up the purple cup. Well then she decidede she didn't want any juice. So we went the rounds trying to get her to drink her juice that she had asked for, but she said it was too much and she only wanted a little, oh and she didn't like that cup. So I asked her if she wanted a bigger cup, and she said yes so I poured the juice from her purple cup into the bigger blue one and handed it to her. She looked at it and said, "That's much better!" and she drank it all.Wednesday, February 27, 2008

Bens stash
This is the kids reading corner that we set up in the living room. They have had a lot of fun looking at books in their own little space. Ben has taken a special liking to it. I decided I should clean it up and straighten up the books a little bit, and oh was I suprised at what I found. My little boy is like a squirrel! By the looks of his supply you would think it was going to be a long hard winter. Maybe he was just getting his food storage in order too. I found one whole side of a gingerbread house from christmas, some apple slices, and pieces of candy. And it wasn't just limited to food I found several "missing toys" carefully tucked behind books and sets of keys. It made me laugh to think about him in there stashing his goods and keeping his new found prizes safe. What a funny little boy I have.

Clean up, clean up, everybody do your share...right?

I have been told that the definition of insanity is doing the same thing over and over and expecting a different result. So I have since declared myself insane. Every day I clean up the same mess (more than once) and tell them that the coat rack gets jealous, and is feeling neglected because the floor gets to hang out with the coats more than it does.

The middle child

So I mentioned how I was concerned that the third child might be a little left out as far as not having any pictures. I don't think I really need to worry about this phenomenon with Savanah. Every time I pick up the camera it's almost as if my finger gets a twitch and i can't stop taking pictures, either that or she's so cute I don't want to miss a smile, or her tounge which she loves to stick out. Maybe it's the middle child syndrome that I should worry about...In my defence I try to take pictures of Ben but for some reason he just doesnt like his picture taken, as you can see in this picture here. When I tried to get a shot of his face he would turn around. So let it be known that at least I tried!

Potty Training Blues
I am just wondering when this will ever happen. Ben is playing with my mind. The other day he said mom i need to go potty in the toilet. Well I've heard that one before so I was like yeah okay have fun. And would you know he actually did it. I was so excited so I put underware on him and not even an hour later he pooped in his underware. I thought that's okay we can try again, maybe Ben thought we can try poopin in the pants again because within the next couple hours he pooped, and not in the toilet. I decided i would much rather change diapers than clean out poopy underware. I'm just wondering if I will ever see the end...and not just Bens end!Monday, February 4, 2008

My Nocturnal Boy

So I have had a few sleepless nights lately and you would think it was from the baby, but nooooo! It's this guy right here. He has been waking up more than Savanah with growing pains, and bad dreams, and "can I sleep with you mom?" Well the other night I was so tired and I was having this wierd dream that I kept getting hit in the face. The funny thing was I really was getting hit in the face. Ben had climbed in bed with me, and I was so tired I didn't even notice, and it was his hand that kept flying on my face. I was too tired to take him back to bed, so my sweet husband carried him back for me.
